For this reason, our continuing education classes place a specific emphasis on in-home health care practices, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care, hospice care and end of life care, fall prevention, nutrition and other services. If you are a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), some courses may count as CEUs (continuing education units) towards your certification. As a home care aide, you are required to complete 2 training courses every month. Completing monthly training is one of the requirements for the annual bonus, paid personal time off (PPTO) and consideration for Comfort Keeper Home Caregiver of the Month.
