Our state is facing a desperate caregiver shortage. According to this article from the Fond du Lac Reporter:
"A 2018 Wisconsin caregiver vacancy report, put out by a coalition of provider associations, found one in five caregiver positions in long-term and residential care facilities remain unfilled. Fewer caregivers are entering the workforce while the need for help continues to increase."
