Veterans Aid and Attendance

In Partnership with American Veterans Care Connection (AVCC)
America’s veterans have given so much to protect our freedom, way of life, and future. At Comfort Keepers of Johns Creek, it is our privilege to serve veterans and their families throughout Gwinnett County and North Fulton County with compassionate, high-quality in-home care.
Through our partnership with American Veterans Care Connection (AVCC), eligible veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for the VA Aid & Attendance benefit, which can help cover the cost of in-home care—often with little to no out-of-pocket expense.
VA Aid & Attendance Benefits for Veterans and Surviving Spouses
The Aid & Attendance program is a tax-exempt monthly benefit available to eligible, honorably discharged veterans and their surviving spouses who require assistance with daily living.
Those who qualify receive a monthly reimbursement from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for approved medical expenses. In-home care services are considered an eligible medical expense under certain circumstances.
With AVCC’s assistance, Comfort Keepers can:
- Pre-qualify veterans for benefit eligibility
- Simplify and accelerate the application process
- Help ensure services are delivered quickly and efficiently
Our Commitment to Veterans
We deeply respect the sacrifices made by veterans and their families. It is our sincere honor to help them remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Through personalized care plans and compassionate caregivers, Comfort Keepers proudly serves those who have served our nation.
