Comfort Keepers is proud to have Regina as Our Caregiver of the Year!
Regina was born in Kenya and relocated to the United States about five years ago to be with her son’s. In Kenya, Regina worked at a hospital as an Enrolled RN which is equivalent to a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She thoroughly enjoyed her job at the hospital, so it only seemed right to continue caring for others here in the states.
Regina’s mother was the most influential person in her life. She watched her mother nurse a grandparent with such kindness and a tender spirit; and seemed to have a way that communicated an abundance of love and care.
Regina is carrying on her mother’s gift of care and compassion. She has become a part of many Comfort Keepers’ clients’ families with her genuine gracious demeanor. “If I need care, I would like the same kind of loving respectful care given to me.” Regina said she cares for others as though she were caring for herself.
When asked what she likes the most about working for Comfort Keepers, Regina said that the office staff is so accommodating, and this is the only agency she wants to work with! We especially appreciate Regina’s willingness to help whenever asked. Thank you so much, Regina.
