Trusted In-Home Senior Care Serving Euless

Comfort Keepers In-Home Care of DFW Mid-Cities.

Meet Scott - Owner/Operator of Comfort Keepers®Mid-Cities, A Leading In-Home Care Provider

In early 2018, I left a 20-year investment career to become an entrepreneur, a small business owner and operator. I wanted to focus my time & attention on helping those with serious illnesses and chronic conditions, especially services that could help older adults, and have a direct impact on others’ lives. A search for that opportunity led me to Comfort Keepers. Diseases such as cancer, congestive heart failure (CHF), Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s have touched me personally, taking the lives of my grandmother, mother-in-law and father-in-law, and two aunts, which is why I decided to evaluate the home care field carefully and assess how it fit into the healthcare services continuum. While I’m a "business guy" – I was trained as a CPA and hold a master’s degree in entrepreneurial finance – I have always been interested in health & wellness and am a big proponent of staying active, eating healthy. CK’s interactive style of caregiving and our role in the home does just that, ensuring folks live their best life. I am a hands-on owner and growth-minded, with the goal of being the best home care provider in Tarrant County. In terms of background, I appreciate the power of faith, the need for social & family connections, and the importance of education and strive to lead a balanced life. I’m a Texas native, born in Kingsville, who lived in Tyler as a child, then returned to the DFW Metroplex some 30 years ago to go to college at SMU. I met Christy (an Arlington resident and Baylor grad) in 1995, we got married in Arlington in 1998, celebrated with family & friends at The Colonial, and then we started a family here in North Texas. We are raising three boys now and proud to call Texas home.

I acquired this office from Ashvin Amin in December 2023. He wanted to keep the business "in the family." Ashvin owned the agency for 10 years and is a long-time resident of the Metroplex area, an IT specialist and a family man. After spending a good portion of his life in the information technology field Ashvin's motivation was similar to mine... he wanted to move into a more satisfying role.  Ashvin saw an opportunity to make a positive difference. He knew how many of his family members did not want to leave behind the familiarity & memories of their own homes and the emotional attachments they had to their homes were hard to break.

I hope to continue what he pursued and believed - that "with our compassionate and comforting caregivers, we can provide assistance to these seniors during their golden years and enhance their independent living at levels they would have not believed possible."

Please call us to discuss your situation and how we can help.
