Originally from Ohio, I graduated from Kent State University (2000) and, in 2003, founded Personal Best Fitness, a Personal Training Studio in Brentwood, TN. Aimed at helping and inspiring my community, I bootstrapped this start-up and managed all operations, including Marketing, Accounting, Cleaning, Answering Phones, Training, and Hiring – occasionally stopping for sleep. Today, the company runs itself with amazing people, and I want to continue to support my community. That’s when I came across Comfort Keepers.

I have also founded community events, races, and triathlons, raising hundreds of thousands for local charities. I was also a trader at a hedge fund, had my real estate license for investment properties, and wrote two books. As Head Coach for 16 years of TN Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Team In Training,” we raised almost $20 million for cancer research – all of which remains a proud moment for me.

I have run over 80 marathons and triathlons, including Ironman, Boston Marathon, Ultra Marathons, Trail Marathons, and the Grand Canyon’s Rim2Rim2Rim (twice), raising money for Alzheimer’s and ALS.

Jennifer Cason

I am a well traveled mother of three who has experienced heartbreak at the deepest levels driving me to stand in the gap for others. I coordinate our Comfort Keepers TN home care team that locates, trains and schedules quality caregivers to take care of our customers or their loved ones. Matching the right caregiver with a consumer in need is challenging but my team strives to make the right connections with dedicated persistence. In my spare time I enjoy sewing, embroidery and other creative crafting activities.

Sandy Petrou

Client Care Advocate

Growing up with a mother that was an RN, watching her care for her patients inspired me to go into a field that was giving AND rewarding. 

Though not the medical field, I chose to serve people by becoming a hairdresser.  For almost 40 years I still enjoy the communication and have the desire and compassion to care for clients on a personal and professional level.

 In addition, I am natural caregiver by heart as I have assisted various people during their time of need from a physical and mental disability standpoint.  I have worked in the role of a caregiver for many clients and thoroughly enjoyed bring joy and assistance to them.  In addition, I have been helping my family with the care of my father who has dementia.

As a Client Care Advocate, I enjoy trouble-shooting issues, analyzing and coming up with solutions that are suitable for all involved. I am excited to be a part of the team at Comfort Keepers!

Jennifer Craddock

Scheduling Coordinator

I am a native Floridian transplanted here in Tennessee since 2013.  I have a compassionate heart and love to spread kindness.  I have worked in the medical field for most of my adult career and very much enjoy helping others.  I have experience in various health care settings including home health, long term care, skilled nursing, and doctor’s offices. I have a strong desire to help our elder community whenever possible.  They are full of knowledge and I have learned so much from servicing them. In my free time I like to keep my mind sharpened with puzzles and trivia games.  I also enjoy exploring all the beautiful places and spaces here in Tennessee. I started at Comfort Keepers as a Scheduling Coordinator and quickly moved into a supervisor role in my department. My heart has always been with our seniors, and I am excited to move into my new role as a Scheduling Coordinator. I can't wait to assist our clients in need.

I am from Nashville, TN. I have over 6 years of customer service and management experience as well as a passion for the senior community and the people that serve them. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, my 2 cats, and my many plant babies. I love crafting, music, hiking and traveling. I am hard-working, and compassionate and hope to bring light and positivity to everything I am involved in.

Shelby Turner

I was born and raised in Mount Juliet, Tennessee but I do love to travel. I first fell in love with the senior population while doing activity programming for residents in Senior Living Communities in 2016 here in Nashville. My experience ranges from Skilled Nursing Care, to Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. I believe that every client deserves dignified, person-centered, and compassionate care no matter what stage of life they may be in. I enjoy getting to know my clients and hearing stories about their unique life experiences. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading a good book, trying new restaurants, getting out in nature, or traveling.

I’m a native Tennessean with an extensive background in caring for the most vulnerable and valuable of our population. I have been in the healthcare industry for over 8 years in many different roles. I enjoy being able to help people navigate through difficult circumstances and provide them with support and relief. I was raised up to be a hard worker and that no matter the job you always give 110%. I am extremely close to my family and have a cat that is definitely my fur baby. I can truly say most of my free time is spent with them. When not with my family I enjoy doing anything that has to do with history, the arts, nature, reading, or furthering my knowledge in various subjects.

Roux Chanatry

Client Care Advocate

I was born and raised in Nashville, TN. I spent time in Chattanooga where I was the Administrative Assistant and Activity Coordinator for Assisted Living for a Senior Living/Healthcare Facility where my residents became my family away from home. I moved back home to Nashville in 2021 where I became a Scheduling Coordinator for a home care company before joining the Comfort Keepers team as a Client Care Advocate. I love to travel and scuba dive whenever I get the opportunity. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs with my partner which we adore like our children. In my free time, I love to read, write, and work on different forms of art like painting or stained glass.
