Comfort Keepers in Coeur d’ Alene, ID provides senior in home care services to home bound seniors throughout Kootenai County to enable continued independent living. We understand the importance that client’s place on their independence and strong desire to live in their own home for as long as possible. With Comfort Keepers services in place, seniors receive the assistance to successfully manage the activities of daily living. These services include but are not limited to daily tasks like grooming and hygiene, medication management, meal preparation, and mobility. Our senior care services are customized to meet an individual’s unique needs as well as keeping them involved in the community by driving them as needed to wherever they want to go; shopping, to the beauty salon, church, movies or a sunny drive around the lake.

Another way that we help our clients stay involved and engaged in life is by working with other local senior-focused organizations that can help them improve their overall quality of life.

Alzheimer’s Association- The Washington State & Northern Idaho Chapter

Comfort Keepers is a proud partner of the Alzheimer’s Association.  This non-profit is a leader in raising awareness of the disease as well as funds to put towards research to find a cure.  We assist clients who suffer from symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease as well as employ Caregivers that work specifically with Alzheimer’s patients. Collaborating with this organization allows us to provide our Comfort Keepers family with the resources they need to properly care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia.

CareNet Kootenai

CareNet Kootenai is an association of local organizations and service providers who help keep area seniors safe. Members include area hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, in-home health agencies, in-home care agencies, senior centers and other senior support companies such as those offering durable medical equipment, hearing aids, and mobility solutions.

Veterans Administration Aid & Attendance Program

Comfort Keepers of North Idaho is an authorized provider of aid and attendance benefits for those veterans who qualify. If You need another person to help you perform daily activities, like bathing, feeding, and dressing, o you have to stay in bed—or spend a large portion of the day in bed—because of illness, Comfort Keepers can provide assistance through this program. This program also offers respite services for spouses and/or other family members who are the veteran’s primary caregiver.
