Comfort Keepers provides good care and the caregivers are helpful and friendly. I'm thankful to have them. Recently they organized extra time for me so I could BBQ. It meant so much to me. I hope we are able to do this again next year.
My mother-in-law is a client of Comfort Keepers Fond du Lac. It is never an easy decision to make and there are so many questions about how, why and what our needs will be fulfilled. Brenda our client care coordinator has gone above and beyond to help understand how insurance works when using comfort keepers. WOW! Thank goodness we had her. As a family member you feel so alone if the "client" thinks they are doing ok on their own. Brenda gave us strength and knowledge to do the right things.
Brenda paired my mother-in-law with Julie who is amazing. She is so kind and fun. She goes with the flow. When short term memory loss is involved things change often. :) We all love her. When she found out my mother-in-laws brother had comfort keepers she was willing to take her to visit him. What a delight! We trust her with the Mom we love. That says it all.
I have used Comfort Keepers following my heart surgery in July 2024. I did not need medical care, but still wanted an extra pair of hands to help me transition to home. The service was the perfect supplemental care program to assist me upon my return from the hospital. They provided me with assistance with many of the little things I was unable to do.
The staff who provided my in home services were kind, well versed in their responsibilities, and prompt. Tasks were completed quickly and efficiently. Questions were asked if there was any concern. They were a joy to have in my home. I was impressed with the Comfort Keepers services, and will use them again should the need arise.

My mother has dementia and wants to stay in her own home. Comfort Keepers has enabled me to keep my mother comfortably and securely where she wants to be. CK's caregivers do what you would expect- provide companionship, do laundry, keep the house clean and cook healthy meals, provide med reminders, assist with dressing and showering, help with light shopping and even get her to go on walks or exercise. The reason I rate them as a 5 is that each caregiver really does care about mom. They get her to help solve puzzles, create art projects, watch fun video clips, cheer on the Packers, and even get up and dance to her favorite music. These wonderful caring professionals offer me a front line view of changes in moms behavior and over time have become part of our family. Brenda includes our entire family in assessing mom's care plan and provides insights and resources as we all navigate mom's dementia journey.
