Comfort Keepers mission is to provide exceptional senior homecare to adults in Cary, Raleigh and the Wake County community
Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest level of quality of life that is achievable. We shall treat each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were caring for a member of our own family.
The special people who deliver our unique brand of senior homecare (We call them Comfort Keepers) are carefully selected, screened, and trained to provide professional, compassionate care. Many caregivers are drawn to our program because of the care the high standards of care their loved one received, including our HR specialist (and 2013 Comfort Keepers Caregiver of the Year recipient!) Simone Chance.
Our Senior Homecare Philosophy
Interactive Caregiving™ is based on four primary pillars, which Comfort Keepers leverage to care for, engage, and interact with our clients:
- An active senior mind promotes independence, better mental and physical health, happiness, and a longer life. We encourage light mental exercises such as puzzles, reading, or even simple conversation to stimulate your loved one's mind.
- A physically active senior maintains strength and independence, lessening or delaying the effects of aging. Our senior homecare providers can go on walks with your loved one, or encourage them to stay active through daily activities such as shopping and social events.
- A well-nourished senior is more energetic, both physically and mentally. Comfort Keepers caregivers can assist your loved one with meal preparation, and our SafetyChoice systems make it easy to manage necessary medications.
- A safe senior lives in an environment that reduces the likelihood of accidents and promotes timely response when illness or accidents occur. We provide home monitoring and emergency response systems that can make this a reality. In addition, our caregivers are trained to help loved ones thrive in a safe, independent way.
