I find a strong immediate need to hereby give credit where credit is due. As a Vietnam veteran (non-combat 59-62) of the USAF, in need of home and transportation care, my wife and I began a ‘contract’ with Comfort Keepers, (John Barnette) with great apprehension. We’ve experienced many circumstances where the vendor ‘promised us the moon’ but actually gave us a ‘ticket to Columbus’. (figuratively) .
By contrast, John made clear up front what was possible and what was probably not. Your service chose a help meet in the person of Christina Baker. I swear before heaven she is our ‘cream of the crop’ in many ways. My wife and I are 81 and sometimes hard to please… at least edgy about the outcomes. Ms. Baker is not only the help that we sorely need, but a real girl-to-girl buddy to my wife.
And then Peggy (wife of 57 years) and I were skittish about who’d be a new fit-in for an off schedule doctor’s trip. But somehow John picked another winner in Brittany Pace. I see a second example of Comfort Keepers able to do for veterans what doctors and meds cannot.
