Village of Kenilworth

Kenilworth was founded in 1889 when Joseph Sears purchased 223 acres of farmland between the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad and Lake Michigan for $150,300. Sears and several of his associates then formed The Kenilworth Company to execute his suburban dream. The village layout was designed to take advantage of the natural features and beauty of the land. To maintain the country atmosphere, the plan required large lots and setbacks, tree plantings along roadways, and generous park lands. Mr. Sears donated much of his own property to achieve this goal. Kenilworth’s churches, schools, parks, clubs, and recreational areas were early additions to encourage a spirit of community. Today, with slightly more than 2,500 residents, Kenilworth remains a picturesque village that boasts many historic homes and landmark structures. Comfort Keepers has been serving Kenilworth seniors and families since 2000.

Sometimes a little help means a lot.

Comfort Keepers provides industry-leading home care services that allow seniors in Kenilworth to continue living independently – and safely – in their own homes. For the Comfort Keepers team, our work is personal: we care for your loved one as if they were a member of our own family.

The first step in starting a relationship with Comfort Keepers Kenilworth is simple, but it is the key to our overall success. Our experienced home care professionals will meet with you and your loved ones to assess the senior’s medical condition, living environment and personal preferences. This allows for the creation of a comprehensive plan of service, tailored to a client’s individual needs. During this meeting, we can discuss options such as:

  • Personal Care
  • Companion Care
  • Interactive Caregiving
  • Respite Care
  • Transitioning/Post-Surgical Care
  • Alzheimer’s Care and Dementia Care
  • End-of-Life Care

Comfort Keepers Kenilworth also works in partnership with local businesses and senior organizations to better serve our clients and families.
