Comfort Keepers has provided care to my Mother and my Cousin during some incredibly difficult times. They provide care at the highest possible level including transporting my cousin to her doctor's appointments and caring for my mother who fought bravely for five years against lung cancer. The caregivers that were provided to my family were of the highest quality. They were caring, efficient, competent, and timely. Some of them became dedicated to such an extent that both my mother and my cousin would request the same caregivers over and over again. Comfort Keepers is family-owned. The owners care so much about their employees and their clients that they have retained employees and clients for many, many years. They do what they do out of caring and treat it as much more than a business. I can't say enough about Comfort Keepers in terms of their ownership and their entire staff.
As you know, we engaged the services of Comfort Keepers in December of 2013, when D was assigned to us as the Caregiver. We want you to know what a pleasant experience it was to have her in our home. She is a most dedicated and capable caregiver and we are impressed in the many ways she serves her community. It is hard to tell you how much we appreciate her and what she does for us.
I came across this letter Mom wrote in 2018 with a post-it of CK’s mailing address. Looks like she never got to mailing it. If Dellah and Sylvia are still with CK, or you have their personal email, please send them the attached copy I scanned. I thought it was very sweet. The fat pen she mentions was also in the drawer next to the letter. Thanks for taking such good care of both my parents through the years, and continuing to take care of Mom and me. He said that as he got better, his caregivers were discharged, and he was sad to see them all go.

What comfort and support your people gave me and Bill these last few weeks. Every person you sent was competent, skilled and caring. They always treated Bill with kindness and respect. Toby and Christine’s night duty allowed me to sleep and regain my strength and composure. Katherine’s loving attention to Bill in his last days was so sweet. Brian was a gem. And the day Bill passed away, Brian was calm, supportive, efficient – he made the day more bearable. God bless you all.

I want to say thank you to all the people that worked with my mom! I have been continually impressed and thankful for the care you all have provided. Everyone has been very kind, caring, and patient with my mom and I sincerely appreciate all you have done. When I’ve come to visit my mom, I’ve seen so many times how happy she was while doing various activities, sitting outside, walking, watching the birds at the feeder, reading picture books, even doing puzzles. You all made her feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As her dementia progressed, you helped her through the hard times when she didn’t feel well, or couldn’t hear very well, or felt afraid or anxious. Just knowing that you all were there with her gave me and my family such peace having her in such good hands.
I also want to thank all the folks behind the scenes, I really appreciate how much the whole organization worked together to keep me informed when things changed with my mom’s health or other needs. The help with finding resources and advice for dealing with specific issues was always appreciated. The communication and responsiveness was really wonderful, and contributed a great deal to knowing my mom would always be in good hands. As my mom’s dementia progressed and we need to move up to 24 hour care, I really appreciated how quickly you all were able to schedule people for those shifts, not an easy thing to do on very short notice.

There are no words of gratitude sufficient to thank P. His caring was beyond anything one writes on paper. He was so present whether strumming his guitar or preparing a beautiful lunch for us. Like an old soul he knew when to speak and when to just be. After we used up all the miracles and there were many, along came this angel who would not leave me until all the hospice equipment was removed from the house.

Comfort Keepers was a godsend when my mom was recovering from her broken hip. She was not making much progress on walking because she could only walk with assistance and there just wasn't enough staff at her skilled nursing facility to walk with her. Comfort Keepers was able to work with me and my mom's nursing facility and had one of staff go to the facility and walk with my mom for an hour a day. This sped up my mom's recovery and helped her regain the mobility she had before she fell and broke her hip. When it was time for my mom to come home we were able to continue care with Comfort Keepers in her apartment. Today my mom is completely independent again in her own home (something she desperately wanted) and I credit it all to the help we got from Comfort Keepers. They were so professional, warm, and truly care about their clients. I can't recommend them enough!
We are so pleased with Comfort Keepers, I wish there were more than 5 stars! Within less than a year, my father went through a lot of changes in the level of assistance that he needed. At every stage, everyone at CK treated him with the utmost respect, the most positive attitudes, and genuine TLC. I am so grateful for the loving care you and your staff have given Mom throughout these years. Her life and her passing were both eased by the time, attention, commitment, and genuine concern each carer provided. The support you gave me on Mom’s last day, the practical advise and information as well as the hug, all made it easier for me to help Mom slip away peacefully. The Hospice nurse came in to give her a ‘bed bath’ at 4 PM, even washing her hair and changing her into a pretty blue nightgown, then leaving us alone. Comfort Keepers has provided private caregivers to my mother (who has Parkinson's Disease) for over six years and they have been invaluable, and a key factor in allowing my mother to live independently for as long as possible and now hopefully stay in Assisted Living as long as possible. They have been responsive to her ever changing needs as her Parkinson's progresses. The caregivers have been wonderful and so caring. They provide regular input as to my mother's status and problems they notice (since they are there everyday) that need to be addressed.

Rosa has provided exceptional care for my 99 year old father for the last eight months. She understands his needs for both care and having a feeling of independence and self respect. She takes the time to understand his abilities and limitations and always works with him so that he feels successful and a partner in his care. She enjoys engaging in conversations about current events and his interests to keep him mentally engaged and challenged. Rosa has been able to do this while satisfying the sometimes conflicting, ideas and goals of people close to dad which more than once has not been easy to accomplish. She did this with skill and always with what’s best for my dad as the first consideration. In the past few years we have had the most amazing caregivers for my mom. They were with her making her happy and comfortable right up until she passed. They really became part of the family because of the compassionate, professional and caring way they took care of not only her but the whole family.
