Teepa is a dementia care specialist, and the Positive Approach to Care (PAC) Team shares about dementia so that everyone can understand why changes are happening and how you can support those living with brain change more positively and respectfully.

In this webinar, You will explore the following topics:

  • This session will provide learners with in-depth information about possible factors that affect food and beverage intake for individuals who are living with dementia. It will also offer strategies and techniques to help address issues related to intake, maximizing positive experiences throughout the condition. By the end of this session, learners will be able to:

    1. Describe aspects of dementia that affect nutrition and oral intake.
    2. Discuss a match between common issues to interventions that address oral intake concerns.
    3. Determine if nutrition and eating support is being optimized based on the individual’s abilities and needs.
