Community Partnership: Congregation Beth Am Food Pantry in Buffalo Grove

Comfort Keepers In-Home Care in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

Comfort Keepers is proud to assist Congregation Beth Am in Buffalo Grove with its Food Pantry!  Our office has made a donation to the Food Pantry and Ben Josephson, our Operations Manager and a member of the Congregation Beth Am congregation, has volunteered onsite with his family as well.  This type of outreach is important to us as members of the Buffalo Grove community. We not only work here and provide caregiving services to families in the area, but we are your neighbors! Please join us as we lend a hand to those who are in need of support.

The Congregation Beth Am Food Pantry is open for public food distribution on the 2nd and last Sunday of each month, from 12 noon until 2 p.m.  The address is 1370 Abbott Court in Buffalo Grove.

No ID is required of Food Pantry donation recipients. No financial assessment is required. All are welcome, regardless of religious background. We will continue with the following COVID-19 related precautions:

1) Food will be brought outside/curbside to recipients.
2) Guests are not allowed in the synagogue building at this time due to COVID-19 restrictions.
3) All Food Pantry volunteers will be wearing masks during their shifts.

If you would like to help by making a food donation, please follow these updated Congregation Beth Am Food Pantry donation guidelines:
-- Non-perishable food items only.
-- Items cannot be expired (Please check the dates before donating.)
-- For safety purposes, the Food Pantry cannot accept glass jars of any kind.
-- Standard-size packages only. Jumbo sizes are not better for the Food Pantry.
