Village of Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire was born in the early 1830s as “Half Day,” a community named in honor of Halfda, an Aptakisic Indian chief. Its first school was established in 1836 and within the next decade, a blacksmith shop, sawmill, country store and a church had been added to the mix. When the automobile made travel easy, Half Day became a popular recreational destination where visitors could enjoy a racetrack, bowling alley, dance hall and amusement park. That trajectory continued well past Lincolnshire’s incorporation in 1957. Today, the village is home to the Marriott Resort, growing retail areas, a corporate center and the acclaimed Adlai E. Stevenson High School. Comfort Keepers is honored to have served seniors and families in Lincolnshire since 2000.
Sometimes a little help means a lot.
Comfort Keepers provides industry-leading home care services that allow seniors in Lincolnshire to continue living independently – and safely – in their own homes. For the Comfort Keepers team, our work is personal: we care for your loved one as if they were a member of our own family.
The first step in starting a relationship with Comfort Keepers Lincolnshire is simple, but it is the key to our overall success. Our experienced home care professionals will meet with you and your loved ones to assess the senior’s medical condition, living environment and personal preferences. This allows for the creation of a comprehensive plan of service, tailored to a client’s individual needs. During this meeting, we can discuss options such as:
- Personal Care
- Companion Care
- Interactive Caregiving
- Respite Care
- Transitioning/Post-Surgical Care
- Alzheimer’s Care and Dementia Care
- End-of-Life Care
Comfort Keepers Lincolnshire also works in partnership with Sedgebrook and Radford Green and Warren Barr in Lincolnshire in order to better serve our clients and families.
