Dear Bill and Gaye, Thank you so much for your kind and helpful support to my sister, myself, and especially my mom. Virginia Califano (nee Schupp) was known to many by her professional name, Virginia Belmonte. Virginia came into my life in 1943, when she was a glamourous young beauty pageant winner, on her way to becoming a Goldwyn Girl and a film actress in both Hollywood and Italy. She was a big part of my life for the next seventy years- through many life changes. When age and illness put her security and comfort in jeopardy, I was fortunate in finding Comfort Keepers. Their quality 24 hour in-home care allowed her to remain in loved and familiar surroundings, with her precious "Kitty,' for the remainder of her ninety- three years. I will always be grateful for the kind and caring way all of us - the family and Virginia were treated by all the Comfort Keepers - during those difficult final years.
It's been a couple of months since my aunt, Virginia C., passed away. Her last few years were made more comfortable thanks to you and your staff. Each time I visited with her over the four years of Comfort Keepers' care, I felt each of her caregivers was professional, caring, and empathetic. I wanted you and your staff to know that that level of care was deeply appreciated. I know Mrs. Cardenas was also very involved in the direction of Virginia's care and regret I did not have a chance to meet her. Thank you both and your excellent care giving staff.
