Comfort Keepers of Racine, WI has proudly served Racine and Kenosha Counties since 2010!
Senior Leaders in the Community
The leadership role that Comfort Keepers takes in Racine is marked by providing first-rate care but also by helping create a safe and welcoming community for residents. Kevin is involved with the Racine County Triad so he can work with the local law enforcement agency and other agencies to make the community safer. Kevin also serves as Treasurer for the Southeast Wisconsin Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) Chapter, which helps him spread awareness of the disease. He also raises money for bladder cancer research.
In order to further spread knowledge of afflictions that can affect our clients and to help us deliver the best home care Wisconsin services, Comfort Keepers supports the Alzheimer’s Association. We have a team for the Association’s annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. To further support Alzheimer’s research, we are involved with the Racine Kenosha Dementia Care Network. This association helps our Home Care Racine caregiver team educate others about dementia. Senior nutrition is an integral part of our home care Wisconsin services. We support programs to raise awareness of the importance of senior nutrition. Through Feed Seniors Now, we help hold an annual food drive to collect food for needy seniors in the community.
Comfort Keepers of Racine, WI's care services are made more complete by the relationships and partnerships that we have with local hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and independent senior apartments. They help us ensure that our home care Racine clients receive the medical care that they need and that this care is received as efficiently as possible. Our relationships with local home health care and hospice agencies help us provide continuity of care for our clients and ensure that their experiences are comfortable and effective.
Home Care Racine Services
The home care Wisconsin services that we provide are interactive. Interactive Caregiving is unique and involves responding to client needs and helping our clients lead longer, healthier, and more purposeful lives. Simply put, we treat our clients like family. We offer short-term companion and in-home care Racine services, which include light housekeeping, bathing, and dressing, and medication reminders. They also include helping our clients be social and engaged with the community.
Our firm belief in the power of socializing to improve one’s well-being is one of the reasons we work so hard to ensure that our clients stay mobile and social. We might take our clients shopping for Kringle at their favorite bakery, which oftentimes is either Lehmann’s Bakery or O & H Danish Bakery, or take them to church. It could also be a trip to the Racine Zoo or a local movie theater. Regardless of the activity, we are happy to help facilitate our clients’ participation in activities that promote engagement with the community and accompany them through the experiences if they like.
Our goal is to provide the best care services to residents of Racine and surrounding areas. Our home care Wisconsin services are steeped in the philosophies of helping clients live richer, fuller lives by meeting their needs and of promoting social responsibility through involvement in the community. The care we provide can be as simple as giving a client a ride home from rehab or as involved as Alzheimer’s and dementia care. If you or a loved one needs help, please call us at (262) 299-0320.
