Third Annual A Senior’s Wish Initiative Kicks Off NOW!
Comfort Keepers Home Care in Charlotte, NC is delighted to kick off our third annual A Senior’s Wish initiative as part of our 20th anniversary celebration. This contest allows individuals to nominate worthy seniors who have contributed to the local community throughout their lives an opportunity to have a wish granted for them.
In the past several years, we have read hundreds of applications for wishes that have inspired us to keep this contest going on an annual basis. This is our way of saying THANK YOU to the seniors in our community who have worked to make our home a better place.
Past wishes have included help reconnecting with loved ones, attending events such as concerts or a play, participating in a hobby or activity, purchasing technology to help seniors stay in touch with family, addition of handicap access to the home and much more. Our aim is to help seniors achieve their attainable goals that may be out of reach for various reasons.

Nominating persons can complete the form and submit it through our website, or download and print this nomination form. When completed, return via U.S. Mail to Comfort Keepers, 8000 Corporate Center Dr, Ste 111, Charlotte, NC 28226.
Finalists will be selected by a panel of judges at Comfort Keepers Home Care Charlotte, NC. Seniors will be chosen based on adherence to age and residence requirements, integrity of the nominee, senior’s community involvement, impact that granting of the wish would have on the nominee, and the ability and practicality of administering the wish. Winners will then be selected by review of written entries and/or phone interviews.
The deadline for 2018 A Senior’s Wish submissions is March 31. Winners will be announced in May.
