We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of in home supportive services and become Comfort Keepers. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others.
All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. We provide access to thousands of courses which can help our team become certified in over 70 areas of in home supportive services. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

Katie Fielmann
Owner/General Manager
Stocking shelves, delivering medicines and Pharmacy Technician for her father’s pharmacies (Chicago’s iconic Bruce and Ken’s Pharmacy), from a young age, Katie has long been involved in the health and well-being of her neighbors. In April of 2002, she took her commitment in community healthcare to the next level when she, her brother, sister, and father, began their Comfort Keepers business. Today, Katie leads a team of over 100 Comfort Keepers in providing exceptional home care services to the families of the Greater Chicagoland area. Additionally, Katie serves on the boards of several local and national organizations, including Team Leader of the Aging Well Lyons/North Riverside and Riverside Team, President of the Home Care Association of America Illinois Chapter, Past President of the Senior Citizen’s Services Coordinating Council and Senior Lifestyle Expo Advisory Board Member. She is also a member of several senior industry associations. Katie spends her downtime enjoying her family. Katie, her husband, and their four daughters are avid cyclists and boaters; spending as much time as possible on the regional trails and lakes.
Tom Anselmo
Operations Manager
Tom has been navigating the complexities of Health Care Management since 2011, working in Home Services alongside a network of Guardianship and Licensed Social Worker professionals until 2018 when his passion for elder care led him to the Comfort Keepers family. With a degree in Economics and a drive fueled by his time with Ken's Closet of DuPage PADS, his focus remains Elevating the Human Spirit while factoring what's best for both the client and caregiver, along with the entirety of our clients' care networks. Outside of his role as Operations Manager, Tom is an active father of 3 young children alongside his wife, our caring, intelligent, beautiful, thoughtful, funny, & driven Bookkeeper.
Meghan Fielmann-Anselmo
Bookkeeper
Meghan joined the Comfort Keepers family in 2015 as part of the Business Development team. Since graduating from Eastern Illinois University with her degree in Healthcare and Business Administration, Meghan has gained experience working with individuals with disabilities and clients under guardianship. Her knowledge of the probate system has helped her to bridge the gap between families and their care coordination. Meghan has a passion for serving her clients and hopes to provide peace of mind for her clients and their families.
Beth McCullough
Client Care Specialist
Beth McCullough joined the Comfort Keepers team in 2020. With ten years of experience in elder care, Beth has worked in skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living facilities. After working with seniors throughout the continuum of care, she found true passion in working with seniors to remain happy and comfortable in their own homes. Beth gets her daily dose of joy reading and spending time with her husband and mischievous cat.
Maria Chavez
HR Manager
Maria has over 15 years of Human Resources experience with a BA in Human Resources and earned her Certified Dementia Practitioner certification in 2020. Maria's passion is to Elevate The Human Spirit of anyone she meets by connecting with them, building relationships and sharing resources. Maria finds Joy in cooking for her family and volunteers her cooking skills in the community.
Terri Geppner
Sales & Marketing Specialist
Terri is well-known and highly regarded as a resource for senior healthcare programs and services. Over the past 16 years, she has developed relationships with key referral partners who see her as a partner in providing excellent services to their patients and families. Terri has already proven herself to be of incredible value to Comfort Keepers, our clients, and our referral partners. She spends much of her time reaching out to the community with information on Comfort Keepers and sharing her expertise in client care transition.
Jeanette Finn
Caregiver Specialist/Client Care Assistant
Jeanette started her career with Comfort Keepers as a caregiver in 2005 and now is part of the support team working as a Caregiver Specialist/Client Care Assistant. Taking care of her Grandma lead her to finding a job helping the elderly. Jeanette gets JOY every day from our caregivers and clients and often says she has found her happy place. In her downtime, Jeanette loves spending time with her growing family and friends.
