About In-Home Care in Ocala, FL
Our caregivers who we like to refer to as Comfort Keepers have all passed a screening process that consists of a criminal background, driving record, and personal reference check. They have also completed a training program and attend continuing education classes to increase their knowledge of senior care. Additionally, our Comfort Keepers are our employees rather than contractors, meaning they are bonded, insured, and covered by workers’ compensation.
In the event that your older adult opts for our in-home care program, they will receive assistance with a variety of tasks. Our Comfort Keepers support seniors with bathing and grooming, toileting and incontinence care, transferring and positioning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, medication reminders, incidental transportation, and more.
In addition, we offer specialized services like transitioning home care for seniors who have recently returned home from a lengthy hospital stay, respite care for primary caregivers that need a break from their caregiving responsibilities, or end of life care for older adults who are nearing the end of their life. We also offer Interactive Caregiving which is a unique service that helps seniors improve their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.

Comfort Keepers In-Home Care Mission
Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest level of quality of life that is achievable. We shall treat each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were caring for a member of our own family.
The special people who deliver our unique brand of in-home care (We call them Comfort Keepers®.) are carefully selected, screened, and trained to provide professional, compassionate care.
Interactive Caregiving™ is based on four primary pillars, which Comfort Keepers leverage to provide in-home care for, engage, and interact with our clients:
- An active senior mind promotes independence, better mental and physical health, happiness, and longer life.
- A physically active senior maintains strength and independence, lessening or delaying the effects of aging.
- A well-nourished senior is more energetic, both physically and mentally.
- A safe senior lives in an environment that reduces the likelihood of accidents and promotes timely response when illness or accidents occur.
With our Interactive Caregiving approach, we are able to raise seniors’ quality of life to a much higher level than typical in-home care providers.
