Celebrating Community Connections in Durango
At Comfort Keepers Durango, we believe that care extends far beyond the walls of our clients’ homes. This past year has been a reminder of just how much strength, support, and compassion exists within our community—and we’re honored to be part of it.
In June, our team had the privilege of partnering with Durango Senior Services and Vicki to co-host the Annual Care Conference. Coming together with local professionals, caregivers, and families to share resources and encouragement was a highlight of our summer and an experience we are truly grateful for.
September brought even more opportunities to connect. We were proud to lace up our shoes for the Alzheimer’s Walk on September 27th—not only as participants, but also as one of many sponsors standing united for a cause that touches so many lives. Just a few days earlier, on September 21st, we joined the Montezuma County Veteran Stand Down, an event dedicated to honoring and supporting those who served our country. Both gatherings were powerful reminders of the impact we can make when we stand together.
Our gratitude also extends to Hutton Broadcasting, who continues to partner with us on Comfort Conversations, our weekly radio show. Each episode is designed to inform and inspire, covering topics such as dementia care, advance directives, nutrition, veteran benefits, and more. If you haven’t tuned in yet, you should!
