Erin Treat

Regional Recruiter

Erin became a caregiver right out of high school after seeing her grandfather receive amazing care from an in home health agency. She began caring for her grandmother when her grandfather passed, and then continued to dedicate herself to many clients over the years. Erin provided joy and positive energy to her clients in multiple agencies for over 18 years, the last 5 years being with Comfort Keepers. Erin also spent 9 years as Regional Coaching Administrator while caregiving. The role and the requirements of that previous job have helped Erin in her new role as Regional Recruiter. Erin’s knowledge and expertise as a caregiver will also help to bring in joyful people that can elevate the human spirit.

Elevating the human spirit to Erin means giving of your heart 100 percent to the people needing care. Always showing up with a smile no matter what is going on, and making sure that you leave your client with a smile at the end of the visit.

Caitlin comes from 13 years in the hospitality industry. She has worked with different restaurants to ensure their brand is upheld and all guests leave happy. Caitlin enjoys giving great service and thrives in making sure our clients have great experiences. She has worked all angles in the industry starting as a cashier and becoming a General Manager. She loves working at Comfort Keepers because we truly care for our clients and want to make sure we elevate their spirit and quality of life to the fullest!

Ruth Vallejo Hayes

Internal Care Coordinator

Ruth loves the family atmosphere and the support always received from management when she was a caregiver and now that she's moved into an administrative position that same team work and togetherness continues.

To Ruth, "Elevating the Human Spirit" means caring for our clients as if it was a loved one. Empathy, compassion, and dignity go a long way. Making sure that not only are their everyday life needs are met but ensuring their emotional state of mind is in the right place. At the end of the day, you have to love what you do in order to provide the highest level of care.

After working as a Juvenile Probation Counselor, Ruth quickly realized that criminal justice was not her field of preference, She turned to care giving after caring for family. She was a caregiver for several years with another agency and loved every aspect of caring for our elderly. Dementia and Hospice was and still is her preferred areas in the geriatric field. She is fully skilled and doesn't hesitate to go on the field when asked.

Regional After-Hour Liaison

Racheal has always worked in the care giving field; 8 years in child care and 3 years as a medical assistant. She assisted with pain management and later switched to specialty care (oncology). She worked as a scheduler and recruiter for a home health provider for 4 years before becoming an after hour liaison at Comfort Keepers. She holds a special place in her heart for the elder community. Elevating the human spirit to Racheal means proving the highest quality of care, and bringing joy to people's daily lives. As care providers, it is our goal to be patient and compassionate to both our client and their families. Always having your most positive attitude and being respectful. 

For the time that Racheal has been with Comfort Keepers, she feels that everyone who works for the company, caregivers, and office staff, are genuinely here for the clients and their wellbeing. She is enjoying her new position as the afterhours liaison and can't wait to grow with the company. 

Sharyl K Lytle

Operations Manager

Sharyl has spent the bulk of her management career within the Food & Beverage and Hospitality Industries. Excited to jump on board and further the success of the Pleasant Hill office, she is coming to Comfort Keepers with a wealth of knowledge in customer service, team development, and recruiting.

To Sharyl, Elevating the Human Spirit involves putting our clients and caregivers first through establishing beneficial relationships, providing joy-filled care, and helping others live life to their fullest!


Takeya Foster

Regional After-Hours Liaison

Takeya comes to us with a background as a clerk in a hospital setting as well as in environmental health. Takeya has joined our team to help elevate the human spirit of our clients and caregivers. She feels that taking the time to find out what makes people happy and providing them with an experience to bring them joy, is what truly matters most. We are excited to have her support our team as the new after-hours liaison.

Internal Care Coordinator

Hiva comes from a strong background of women Caregivers. She eventually became a caregiver for her husband for a few months before he passed away in March 2021. During this time Hiva continued to work as an administrator for another Home Health Aid Agency in Monterey, CA.  There she developed joy and understanding in knowing the positive impact a genuine caregiver could leave on a client and their family. Starting a new life in Walnut Creek with her family, Hiva now welcomes her new position as an Internal Care Coordinator with gratitude, open mind and eager to provide assistance where she can with Comfort Keepers. Hiva’s way of “Elevating the Human Spirit” is providing care for someone with a genuine heart, patience, understanding and love without expecting anything in return. She loves that Comfort Keepers focuses on making sure our caregivers provide care as if caring for our own loved one.
