Providing top-rated living assistance services to the Coronado area.
With a long and distinguished history, Coronado remains one of the most beautiful small towns in the country. 2015 marks the 125th anniversary of the purchases of the peninsula by businessmen Elisha Babcock, Jr. and Hampton Story. Construction of the iconic Hotel Del Coronado commenced two years later and finished in an astounding 11 months. Coronado gained further national stature in 1911 when famed aviator Glenn Curtiss leased the north end of the island for three rent-free years to experiment with his newly developed seaplane. When he flew the world's first seaplane from that location, he convinced the Navy to establish their first aircraft squadron, making North Island the birthplace of naval aviation. The Coronado Historical Society provides in-depth information and vintage photographs about this island gem, and can be visited on Orange Avenue.
