They did everything I ask of them. I ask them to keep an eye on my mother-in-law, she had hip surgery in November, while I was recovering from shoulder surgery. The two people that came to the house helped her and did the things asked of them. They also willing offered to do other things. I thought the cost was a little high but it was in the same range as other providers.
After 4 years of going thru the endless struggle of finding honest, compassionate, quality care for my mother and becoming exhausted in the process. I heard about "Comfort Keepers" and called. It has been wonderful to watch (Brenda) one of the Comfort Keepers take such excellent physical and emotional care of my mother. It's great to have that feeling of hope again...
I have been a case manager for ALS patients for the past 14 years. During this time one of my job responsibilities is to make sure that the patient receives proper care in their home or assist caregivers in the home to give them a break. For several years we have referred our patients to Comfort Keepers in Cape Girardeau, MO. I have worked with both LaDona Henderson, Programs Director and Sherry James, Executive Director. Both these women have been extremely helpful in making sure that my clients were well taken care of by the best. Both have such a great wide base of knowledge when it comes to know what it takes for our ALS families to be taken care of. I have enjoyed working with both of these women and continue to support their business as our feedback from our patients has been extremely well satisfied from them. I have worked with Sherry James, Executive Director, and LaDona Henderson, Programs Director, at Comfort Keepers for the last 5 years. I can confirm that they are both extremely dedicated to work and perform their job with integrity. Furthermore, they have been able to lead a staff of quality caregivers that are able to work with the personal needs of each individual client. Martha complimented us saying that the caregiver has been wonderful with her Dad and she wishes she could take her with him to Assisted Living. She also stated that our on-call staff over the weekend of 4th of July was great as they helped to make sure her Dad was taken care of after getting out of the hospital.
Comfort Keepers- What a wonderful service they give! I was desperately in need of help, but could find no person or agency who could give the home care that suited my home life style. By accident, I discovered Comfort Keepers and found that they were meant for me and were definitely a blessing from God.
