Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best in-home caregivers, and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others.
All Comfort Keepers caregivers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured, and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families. Our background investigations include, but are not limited to, Federal e-verify, DMV driving records since we provide transportation, Missouri & Federal Court Records, Child/Elder Abuse reports, felonies, and misdemeanors. We have all of our staff bonded against theft and provide workman's comp insurance in the event they would get hurt providing in-home care services. This way, the client is not liable for the employee's medical bills. This is a BIG plus using Comfort Keepers as most homeowner's insurance policies do NOT cover injuries for a paid employee. We also provide general and professional liability insurance with non-owner auto insurance coverage for transportation services.

I come from a background of non-profits and human services type organizations. Most recently, I was the Director of Marketing and Community Development for the Lutheran Home Campus, prior to that, the Development Director of Lutheran Family and Children’s Services. Helping people and providing services is in my DNA. My Husband Mark is a long time truck driver and works for Genesis Transportation driving local routes in the area. We have 3 grown children and live here locally in Jackson, Mo.
