Are your caregivers employees or contractors?

At Comfort Keepers of Kissimmee, all of our caregivers are employees, not independent contractors. This means we carefully hire, train, and supervise each team member to make sure they meet our high standards of compassionate, professional care.

By employing our caregivers directly, we’re able to provide consistent training, offer ongoing support, and handle all background checks, insurance, and scheduling so you can focus on your loved one’s happiness and well-being.

What kinds of companion care activities do caregivers provide?

Companion care is all about meaningful connection and daily support. Our caregivers engage clients in activities that bring comfort, joy, and mental stimulation—such as conversation, playing games, light exercise, reading together, or even going for a short walk.

They can also assist with errands, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, all while building a trusting relationship that helps ease loneliness and promote emotional well-being. At Comfort Keepers of Kissimmee, we care for the whole person, not just their needs.

What is the role of technology in your caregiving services?

Technology plays an important role in enhancing care and keeping families connected. At Comfort Keepers, we use tools to share real-time updates on your loved one’s care, routines, and well-being so you’re always in the loop.

Our caregivers also assist clients with using technology for virtual doctor visits, video calls with family, reminders, and entertainment. Whether it’s staying in touch or supporting safety, we use technology to complement our personal, hands-on care—never to replace it.
