Each year more Veterans are in need of good-quality home care to live comfortably. That's why it's our mission at Comfort Keepers to help connect as many Veterans as we can to any home care Veterans benefits available to them. Veterans deserve top-quality care from skilled home care professionals, and we work hard to help our clients get the services they deserve.

As in-home care costs continue to rise, many households can't cover the costs of these services themselves. That's why it's important to learn more about Veteran care benefits and the programs that are available to our Veterans in Broomfield today.

You May Have Home Care Veterans Benefits Available

Home care costs are higher than ever, and it can be a struggle to cover the costs of an in-home care provider. As a Veteran, you may not have to. At Comfort Keepers, we work with Veteran programs to try and get coverage for our services for qualifying customers. You may qualify for partial or full coverage of our services, making them much more accessible.

How Can You Qualify?

If you (or your spouse) were active in the military for 90 days or longer, with at least one day during a U.S. war, you might have home care Veterans benefits available to use.

The benefits can cover some or all of your in-home care expenses. You can use your discharge certificate to begin the application process.

Along with the discharge certificate, you may need:

  • A marriage certificate

  • Applicable death certificate

  • Social security numbers

With these documents, we can determine if you're eligible for care coverage and what your final costs will be when working with our service providers.

Home care can be costly, but you may not have to pay the full expense yourself. Get more information about our Veteran program by talking with our team at Comfort Keepers.

Get an In-Home Care Expert for Extra Help

As Veterans age, they need help with everyday tasks like household cleaning activities, getting around and grooming, and self-care. Some of these needs can be met by family members, but many Veterans would benefit from an in-home care expert to help them throughout the day.

These care professionals work to provide care when family members and friends aren't available to help. They make it easier to live comfortably, and they often make it possible for Veterans to continue living at home longer.

What Does In-Home Care Include?

In-home care includes a variety of different services. Some clients benefit from light housekeeping services, while others need help moving and grooming.

Many clients can also receive assistance with technology and communicating with loved ones as well. Our caregivers can help with calls, work with computers, and assist with other technical challenges that our Veteran clients might struggle with.

Caregivers interact with their clients and help fill their days with playing games, talking, and sharing stories. Important everyday tasks like meal planning and preparation can also be accomplished by our caregivers.
