We opened for business in 2000. Julie Kuney became our franchise owner in 2004, and her son, Todd, took over in 2011. 

“This is a family business in the true sense of the name,” Julie said. “We do treat our clients as if they are members of our family. Many of us in the office are family members, and it does carry into our philosophy.”

What sets us apart is our nursing care, coordinated by Jan Stainbrook, RN.

“She draws on many years of nursing experience in a variety of environments -- hospital, home care, and hospice. The caregivers look to her expertise for care questions and respect the training she offers,” Julie said.

Our Comfort Keepers are thoroughly trained to provide senior care services that enable your aging loved one to live independently at home, but we do not hire them necessarily for their skills. Instead, we look at their hearts.

“What this results in is a mature staff with life skills in addition to personal care training and the knowledge of what it means to be a good employee,” Julie said.
