Dear Comfort Keepers, 

I am so pleased with the wonderful care that Susan has given to my husband John and to me. I am sure that Susan is the answer to my prayers, as I work with the challenge of both a seriously ill sister in Ann Arbor and a husband who has Alzheimer’s dementia. Susan is consistently on time for her Friday visits. She fixes delicious meals for John and they enjoy the meals together. She is kind and calm and shows that she really cares about John. She has a way with him that accepts his disability, and he accepts her help. I had to come home early a week ago as I had a flat tire on the way to Ann Arbor, and the two of them were watching football on TV, and John was enjoying Susan’s company as they watched the game. Susan also is an amazing help to me. I’ll never forget the surprise and joy I felt the first time Susan came. When I returned from Ann Arbor I found my floors vacuumed, furniture dusted, many loads of wash done and folded, and the bathrooms cleaned! Besides that, Susan had John help with the folding. He does not have any ambition, and so this was a good activity for him. I just wanted to let you know that Susan is a lifesaver to me. She is a blessing to me, and I appreciate her help so much during this difficult and uncertain time in my life. Thank you for selecting Susan to help us. It feels like a miracle, in these times of workers showing a low work ethic, that Susan meets our needs and goes above and beyond our expectations. Thank you!

I wish to acknowledge the superb contributions to my mother's safety and well-being made by the people of Comfort Keepers. Not only did you arrange for her care on very short notice, but every caregiver who came to the house was well prepared for her difficult work. Every one of them was compassionate and skilled and added a unique touch to her care.

Thank you so much for the assistance you gave us. We were at the end of our rope and didn't know who to turn to. We knew Dad didn't want to go to a nursing home, but we couldn't stay with him 24/7 and carry on with our lives. I was going to quit my job so I could stay with him when Comfort Keepers came into our lives. You were a Godsend.
