Michelle Herring

Client Care/Scheduling

Michelle came to Comfort Keepers in 2016 and has over 30 years of healthcare experience. She is part of our Client Care and Scheduling Team.  Michelle spends most days assisting clients and caregivers alike with scheduling and other concerns related to client services. Michelle finds joy in helping others and understands the importance of helping seniors to have an independent, high quality life in the comfort of their own home. Building lasting relationships and supporting our client's well-being is what makes Michelle proud to be a Comfort Keeper.

Tracie Perkins

Client Care Coordinator/Scheduling

Tracie began her healthcare career as a Skilled Nursing Staffing Coordinator in the Indianapolis area. After moving back to her hometown of Rockville, IN, Tracie completed her training to become a Comfort Keeper. She is happily going on her 12th year as Client Care Coordinator for our local office. Through continual communication, Tracie keeps the client and family members up-to-date from the initial in-home consultation through day to day follow ups. "As a supervisor I take pride in matching qualified caregivers to my clients based on the client's needs. It is truly an amazing feeling that I can help individuals stay where they are happiest the most: the comfort of their own home. I am proud to be a Comfort Keeper"

Jimmy Caldwell

General Manager

 Jimmy came to Comfort Keepers as a Management Consultant in 2012, he is a 2001 graduate of Indiana State University with a BS in Construction Management. He owned his own business and worked in construction management until 2018. Since being introduced to Comfort Keepers, Jimmy became the General Manager and  partial owner. In 2021 he became the sole Owner/GM of the Terre Haute Comfort Keepers Franchise. 

Jimmy enjoys the fast pace and ever changing world of healthcare. Working with families to provide custom, quality care for their loved ones makes him proud to be a Comfort Keeper. He also enjoys thinking outside the box to come up with probelm solving solutions for any situations that may arise, be it for the client, caregiver, office staff or family member.  Providing his team with a positive work environment where everyone is treated as family is a top priority.

Melissa Connelly

Client Care Coordinator/Scheduling

 Melissa began her career at Comfort Keepers in 2015 as a Client Care Coordinator. During her time with us she completed her education and graduated from Ivy Tech with a Business Degree in 2018.  Melissa is an energetic, people oriented person who enjoys working directly with clients in the field, doing sign-ups and client visits. Melissa's favorite thing about being a Comfort Keeper is listening to her client's stories about their lives. Actively listening to clients, learning about who they are, and hearing their past experiences helps Melissa to create a personalized care plan that allows your loved one to remain happy, safe and comfortable in their home.

Jenny Caldwell

Office Manager

Jenny began her career with Comfort Keepers in 2012. She is a graduate of Saint Mary of the Woods College with a BS in Business Management. As Office Manager and HR, Jenny runs the day to day operations and strives to improve and streamline processes, so our office staff can spend more time engaging with our clients and providing the highest level of quality care possible. HR and recruiting are also a very important role. Comfort Keepers caregivers are our greatest asset, and she tries to ensure a successful balance of work and home for our caregivers by working with them to provide a manageable schedule tailored around their availability, as well as their location. Being able to provide capable, compassionate caregivers to our clients and treating everyone with the respect, kindness and dignity they deserve is what makes Jenny proud to be a Comfort Keeper.

Mike Ames

Office Admin

Mike became part of the Comfort Keepers team in 2019. He holds a BS in Criminology from Indiana State University and is certified in Medical Billing & Coding. As Office Admin, Mike is responsible for many duties such as: billing, HR, Client Care support and other essential office functions. Mike also helps to ensure that Comfort Keepers is staying on top of the newest regulations and billing procedures. Everyday can present a new challenges in the office. Mike enjoys working with the caregivers, getting to know our clients and knowing he is making a difference in people's lives makes Mike proud to be a Comfort Keeper.
