The Aid & Attendance Benefit is a financial assistance program offered by the Veterans Affairs (VA) which provides monetary support to eligible veterans and/or their surviving spouses who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding themselves. The A&A Benefit is also available to those who are bedridden or have certain limited eyesight. The purpose of the program is to help veterans receive the care and support they need to improve their quality of life.

To be eligible for the Aid & Attendance Benefit, you must meet certain criteria. You or your spouse must be a U.S. veteran who served for at least 90 days during a time of war, with one day during wartime. Additionally, you or your spouse must meet income limits determined by VA guidelines. To apply for the A&A Benefit, you can fill out VA Form 21-2680.
