There are many ways to honor the men and women who have served in the United States armed forces. Comfort Keepers is proud to support them with award-winning veterans care designed to ensure that America's senior veterans and their surviving spouses have access to the home care and other services they need to maintain their freedom and independence.

Comfort Keepers also specializes in dementia and Alzheimer's care, hospital to home transitioning, respite services, and end of life care.

Granted, senior care and supports do cost money. Many senior veterans do not know that they may qualify for Veterans Administration (VA) benefits which can help cover these expenses. This includes helping you to locate and compile documents, filling out forms, and communicating with the VA.

To qualify for VA benefits, you need to have served in the US armed forces for at least 3 months on active duty with at least one of those days occurring during wartime. You must also have received an honorable discharge, have a medical requirement for in home services, and be able to demonstrate financial need.
