Lisa Carson, RN, BSN
Owner
Lisa is a Registered Nurse with a BSN from West Texas A&M University. She has 18 years of experience in home health care, starting as a field nurse and working her way to owning a home health agency. She also has 6 years of experience as a Certified Medical Case Manager for Workers Compensation.
With an aging parent and after working with older folks for 16 years, Lisa saw a growing need for a non-medical agency in this area. She and her husband, John Carson (who is an insurance agent/owner with Butler Carson Insurance) began looking for a solution for the problem. Lisa’s Mother saw a Comfort Keepers ad in the Dallas Morning News and called Lisa immediately.
In 2002, Lisa and John bought the franchise in Lubbock and opened the doors of Comfort Keepers #411 (the 1st non-medical agency in the area). In the 12 years since, we have cared for and loved many of the citizens of Lubbock and the surrounding communities.
Alisha Wright
Billing
Alisha is our Billing Specialist. She has 5 years of experience with a medical billing company and has extensive knowledge with long-term care insurance, VA benefits and billing and private pay billing. After working with the medical billing company Alisha decided she needed a change that enabled her to interact and truly help people. Since coming on board with Comfort Keepers in January 2013 she has become an intricate part of our team. Alisha has great attention for detail and will assist our clients with any billing needs.
Eva Garcia
Scheduler
Eva began with Comfort Keepers in 2004 as a Caregiver. She quickly moved up within our system and has extensive knowledge in the operation of Comfort Keepers. She is our HR Manager and supervises our schedulers. Eva is able to hire the best Comfort Keepers (caregivers) so that each client can have the best, interactive caregiving experience possible.
Kari Norby
Client Care Coordinator
Kari Norby is our Client Care Coordinator. She has served with Comfort Keepers since January 2013. Her passion for seniors began while working with the seniors of her church. She attended South Plains School of Nursing and Covenant School of Nursing where she gained the knowledge and skills needed to support our clients. Kari not only coordinates care she is a liaison for our clients with all their healthcare teams, such as home health, including PT and OT, hospice and the client’s doctors. She believes in doing whatever it takes to help our seniors stay safe, happy and healthy at home.
