COO/Owner

Using his 19 years experience managing and overseeing a local medical equipment business, Tom leads our Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln teams. He supports both caregivers and clients by leading the team with purpose, collaboration, and a people-first mindset. Tom is focused on building a strong, supportive environment so our caregivers can thrive and our clients receive the highest level of care.

What brings Tom the most joy is spending quality time with his wife, family, friends, and dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active by playing basketball, watching sporting events, attending concerts, and listening to music. He also loves to travel—especially to the mountains—and looks forward to yearly trips to Colorado or Wyoming whenever he can.

Tom’s energy, leadership, and enthusiasm for connection make him a great addition to the Comfort Keepers family.

Nikki Wainwright

Office Manager

Nikki Wainwright joined Comfort Keepers on March 2, 2026, bringing with her nearly 20 years of experience in home care. She began her career as a CNA, spending six years in hands-on care before transitioning into office leadership, where she has spent the past 14 years supporting teams and clients behind the scenes. Today, Nikki serves as the Office Manager for our new Lincoln location.

In her role, Nikki keeps daily operations running smoothly while ensuring every client interaction reflects the compassionate, relationship-based care Comfort Keepers is known for. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of the work, especially the problem-solving and coordination that comes with scheduling, and finds it incredibly rewarding to know her efforts directly impact both client care and team success.

Outside of work, Nikki’s greatest joy is her family. She loves traveling—especially to the beach—with her husband, Brandon, their two daughters, and their young son, Kai. She also holds close the memory of their daughter Kennedy, who remains a meaningful part of their family’s story.

With her experience, leadership, and heart for care, Nikki is an invaluable part of the Comfort Keepers team.
