Testimonials

"I love the caregiver that I have with Comfort Keepers. I feel secure with her.  She does things I can't do and don't have anyone else to do. She goes food shopping for me. If I need her to run an errand to the post office or pharmacy, she will go for me. She is thoughtful, kind, and very smart. She does things I need. She often knows exactly what I need from her. I can trust her."

"The people that are helping my husband are very good, quality people. Jamie is such a wonderful caregiver. I am able to leave and do what I need to do while someone is there with him. They will prepare his lunch, change him, shave him, make sure he brushes his teeth and help him shower."

Dennis N - May, 2020

"I liked that they were reliable, timely and professional. They provided transportation for my mother to medical appointments. They would take her and advocate for her while at the doctor’s appointments. They were great about following my instructions. They were good about scheduling the care around my mother’s appointments."

"Comfort Keepers was wonderful. I was able to work very closely with them.  It impacted my father-in-law's life greatly because they had 24/hour care. It was nice that I didn't have to worry about things. I was confident in the caregivers. It let me live life normally."

"I wanted to express our sincere Thanks to you, Comfort Keepers and especially to Sheila Fitzpatrick for your companionship and care of my Dad, Rudy. The kindness, care, and compassion that Sheila exhibited was outstanding. Her willingness to extend herself for my Dad's well-being was a perfect example of love."

"Thank you for all the care and kindness you gave to my mother. She is still at Golden Living Center...has good days and bad, please thank all the caregivers, particularly Mary Ann."

"I wanted to let you know about the amazing quality of care provided to Mom by Emily. She not only always arrives on time, with a smile on her face and kind words from the start but she is absolutely wonderful with Mom. As you know, Mom can be in rather bad moods and basically be somewhat uncooperative at times but Emily is neither put off by nor scared of these moods. She adapts herself to Mom's moods and needs each day. Her gifts include being able to tell when Mom can be jollied out of her moods and when to give her some space. Emily interacts with Mother in a kind, gentle, understanding and respectful way, never insulting Mom's intelligence, never belittling her and never treating her like a child. As horrible as it sounds, that is what a lot of senior care workers do and we have witnessed it first-hand. Emily treats Mom the way we would treat her, like you would treat a family member. Emily is a gifted professional who we have the utmost confidence in when we leave Mom in her care and true asset to Comfort Keepers and blessing to us. Thank you for finding her for us. Sincerely, Dorothy"

"Thought you might like to hear our impression of your PCA/CNA Deidre Brown, who has been taking care of my Mother for several months. Deidre is a competent professional, who represents well the values and brand of Comfort Keepers. She is always on time, has a cheery disposition, and is an efficient worker. She tends to all my Mother's needs, both those we have outlined and those that arise due to changing variables. She is encouraging, supportive, and warm; my Mother looks forward to her visits and asks for her when she isn't around. She has been able, through gentle prodding, to get her into the shower, a task which even the occupational therapist could not accomplish. When Dee leaves, my Mother is perky, well fed, well dressed, well coifed and ready for the day. We feel honored to have a staff member with her talents, abilities and disposition in our midst. Dee would be an excellent trainer for the younger, less experienced staff, for she brings with her a wealth of experience and an unparalleled skill level, in concert with a demeanor that encourages wellness and independence. I often hear her and my Mother laughing heartily and I feel reassured that Mom is enjoying her day. Thank you for scheduling her with us. She is a gem!"

Leslie A. - Osterville, MA

"Chrissy, Thank you so much for your kind and compassionate care to Mom. You have no idea how much help you were to all of us.Mom spent a couple of days in the hospital with pneumonia and then decided that it was her time to pass. I brought her home as she wished and she died peacefully within an hour. She chose her path and followed it."

"Your staff is always pleasant on the phone. Tom is the greatest companion! My Dad, John, enjoys time spent reading and being with Tom."

"The time that I spend with my client who has Alzheimer's is rewarding in that I can provide an "escape" from what feels like a confinement for my client. It also allows me to respond to his comments in a way that acknowledges his frustration with his failing memory. I can also question him about the times in his life that were productive and enjoyable in an effort to bring him back to a time that was happy for him. He may not be able to remember an event but he will remember the emotion attached to it and I want each visit to be enjoyable for him."

"I am very pleased with the care you give to my husband, Keith. Maureen, in the bookkeeping area has been most helpful and answers all questions!"

"Hi Maureen, On a personal note... You have done an outstanding job with everything since the first day we met. There are really no words to adequately express my deepest appreciation for all of your efforts and how you connected with Marie on your very first visit. Your attention to detail is amazing. All of our staff interactions have been excellent. If there was an issue, it was promptly addressed. From our perspective COMFORT KEEPERS is a terrific agency that serves its clients and families during an incredibly difficult time. Maureen, you are an outstanding nursing care provider who deeply cares for her clients and their families. Be proud of what you accomplish each and every day...even on the days that are so tough. Thank you so very much! Hugs, Sherry"

We would like to commend Ms. Kris Prien for her assistance today in taking care of a problem with our mother and mother-in-law, E.H., of Sandwich, MA. Ms. Preen caring and compassionate attitude and response was superb and greatly appreciated. She went right to work, handling the situation with professionalism and responsiveness, keeping us informed on the situation. Ms. Prien's actions reflect great credit on herself and Comfort Keepers and we shall be sure to recommend CK to everyone looking for a referral to help with elder care."

"To: Mr. Robert Mullaney, Owner, Comfort Keepers. Dear Robert, As you are aware, my aunt Marilyn, passed away September 3, 2015 after an extended illness. Her wish was to be both at home and die at home, which thanks to your staff at Comfort Keepers ...we were able to grant. I wanted to write in regard to two exceptional employees from your agency. The first which really compelled me to write is Tracy Ann Harvey. I believe Tracy has only been with Comfort Keepers since the beginning of this year. Both my aunt and myself always called Tracy our favorite. Tracy developed a sincere concern and fondness for my aunt showing amazing warmth, attention to detail and was also teaching your other staff much in the care of Marilyn. The second very good caregiver was Jim Gray who was also consistent, reliable and went above and beyond to make sure my aunt was safe and comfortable. Both of these employees should make you feel very good about the services you provide. I thank them both very much. Sincerely, Janice N-B."

"I received in the mail the most loving tribute one can pay to another person upon his passing. The Living Tribute of a tree being planted in the Tahoe National Forest, CA in memory of (my father) was the most loving gesture that I have ever known. It is truly beautiful especially when Frank and his beloved Margie, traveled the National Parks in this country and loved every mile of the wonder of life before their eyes. I knew at the very beginning of Franklyn’s Comfort Keepers relationship that his care was in the best of hands. He had a special place in his heart for Diane, Donna and Maureen and another Maureen, for they were his “family” during the past year. He knew they cared for him and were interested in his well-being. He had friends, yes, but the special care he received was just wonderful and permitted me to rest easily in New York. So, I thank you for his protected life and the gift of a living memory. Sincerely, Steve T."

"March 28th, 2016 Comfort Keepers; You are the Best! Dear MaryAnne, Cindy, Chris, Kathleen, Sherry Lynn, Katy, Diane, Judy, Betty, Courtney, Bonnie, Sara Lee, Dale and Kim (All who cared for Mary Jane C) In Mary Jane’s own words, “You were a God sent to me”. We will remember your care, concern and help caring for Mary Jane in her home in East Falmouth. You are an exceptional group of professionals. In the early days of caring for Mary Jane, we are certain you noticed her witty sarcasm and sense of humor. In the later days, you remembered how she liked her pillows positioned and what foods were her favorites because you cared enough to know. Supportive, caring, helpful and dedicated, you were always there to watch over Mary Jane. It will not come as a surprise to all of you that your care and dedication to Mary Jane were actually her life work. She cared for her own Mother for years, she worked forty years as a registered nurse and volunteered her time to Catholic Daughters. In her everyday life, she guided and helped many family members as we can attest to. So when each of you lay your head down to sleep tonight, know that you have mad a difference and know someone is watching over you. Please accept our sincere appreciation to all of the caregivers and schedulers. Thank you for your compassion, thoughtfulness and for planting a tree in Mary Jane’s memory. Sincerely, The Family of Mary Jane C"

"Hi Kris - Danny and I want to let you know how grateful we are to JR and the whole team in handling Gi's recent ER trip. Amy kept me updated throughout the day as she and JR were in touch throughout. I was finally able to reach an ER doctor later that evening who had nothing but praise for JR. He was quite impressed with his involvement and dedication to Gi and for that we are so appreciative. The whole team has been truly wonderful. When we last visited, we met Tenesha, who was cheerful and welcoming. We also noted how well she related to Gi and how at ease he seems to be in general these days. Everyone we've met seems to have his best interests at heart. The house was immaculate...the laundry was up to date, the kitchen was spotless, the refrigerator was stocked with healthy foods, and the house was clean and orderly. We took Gi for a drive and I asked him if he was happy. He looked at me and said, "I'm just so grateful. They take such good care of me." I can't begin to tell you what a relief that was to hear. We are so very fortunate to have found such a reliable, caring and capable team. Our sincere thanks to you and to the whole team for working so hard to help keep our Uncle Gi in his home. It means the world to him and to us. With best regards, Tommie"
