Comfort Keepers Supports Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in Cold Spring, KY and Surrounding Areas

Learn more about Comfort Keepers supporting the DAV in Cold Spring, KY.

At Comfort Keepers, we have always been dedicated to helping our nation’s veterans, both by providing our services to those in need of them and by supporting organizations that make a difference in their lives. One such organization that we are more than happy to support, and to which our owner is a centennial ambassador for, is Disabled American Veterans (DAV), a non-profit charity that helps veterans of all ages and their families receive the resources they require.

If you are a veteran or a surviving family member of a veteran, you may wish to join this great organization and become a part of its family of more than 1 million veterans. By doing so, you can reap the many benefits that come with being a DAV member, completely free of charge. These include:

  • You can get free assistance from professionals in getting benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other government agencies. Some of these benefits can, for example, cover the cost of home care services.
  • You can get help with finding meaningful employment. DAV connects veterans with employers, hosts job fairs, and offers all the resources you could need to resume your career or start a new one.
  • You can meet and help fellow veterans through various volunteer programs or receive help yourself.

In addition to assisting American veterans when it comes to benefit claims and employment and connecting them with fellow veterans, DAV also represents the interests of disabled veterans and their families in matters of politics, spreads its message and mission into local communities through a network of local chapters, and raises awareness about the difficulties veterans face when transitioning back to everyday, civilian life.

DAV is committed to helping disabled Americans of all generations in all areas of life, enabling them to obtain all the benefits and resources they deserve and lead quality, dignified lives. The charity has already helped thousands upon thousands of veterans across the nation. In 2018 alone, thanks to DAV, veterans received over $20 billion in benefits.

Comfort Keepers is proud to stand with DAV in an effort to give as much bask as possible to our heroes and be there for them in any way imaginable. We encourage you to reach out to DAV and learn more about how they can help you or someone you love.
