Comfort Keepers – Serving Omaha and Council Bluffs Since 2002

For more than two decades, Rick and Denise Magill provided compassionate, high-quality in-home care through their Comfort Keepers franchises. After 23 years of dedicated service, in August 2025, they transitioned ownership to Fusion, an Omaha-based healthcare company serving the community since 2009. Fusion, which also owns Fusion Medical Staffing, is proud to expand into home care and continue the tradition of excellence established by the Magills.

To lead this new chapter, Fusion appointed Calli Smith as Director of Home Care Services and Owner of Comfort Keepers Omaha and Council Bluffs.

Calli Smith

Director of Home Care Services / Owner

Born and raised in Iowa, Calli now lives on an acreage in Crescent with her husband and their two daughters. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and pets, whether swimming, camping, or cheering on their daughters at their many activities.

Calli brings more than 15 years of experience in the home care industry, having previously managed business operations, compliance, and quality care for another Omaha-based provider. Her deep knowledge and passion for supporting families and employees make her an invaluable leader for Comfort Keepers.

Maggie Linale

Director of Operations

Meet Maggie, our Director of Operations, who will celebrate her two-year anniversary with Comfort Keepers this November! Maggie keeps our office running smoothly by managing payroll, billing, staff training, IT, and all things data-related. She proudly calls herself a “numbers nerd.” 

Her passion for compliance ensures we’re always up to date with the latest state and insurance regulations, and she’s known for jumping in wherever needed—from scheduling and answering phones to training caregivers and even visiting clients. 

With over 10 years in home care and a background at UNMC, Maggie’s love for helping people and supporting caregivers shines through in everything she does. 

Outside of work, she enjoys pizza, dancing, art, and cheering on Husker Volleyball. She comes from a big, lively family and now shares her home with her husband, two kids, and eight pets!

Nathan Estergaard

Nathan Estergaard

Community Relationship Builder

Nathan’s joined us in November 2025 and his focus is on building strong relationships throughout Omaha and Council Bluffs—helping ensure we can best serve aging adults and families in our communities.

Dedicated to personal and professional growth, Nate supports our clients and referral partners through his daily learning habits. He sets aside at least an hour each day to study, reflect, and deepen his understanding of the industry so he can show up as his best self.

For Nate, the most rewarding part of his role is getting out into the community and connecting with people face-to-face. He believes that one of life’s greatest forms of wealth is “good conversations with good people,” and he brings that mindset to every interaction.

Nate finds joy in helping others and making progress—two things that perfectly align with his work at Comfort Keepers. Outside of the office, he enjoys working out, spending time in nature, date nights with his wife, softball practice with his daughter, and fishing trips with his son.

Nate’s enthusiasm, relationship-focused mindset, and heart for service make him a fantastic addition to the Comfort Keepers team.

Toni Kester

Client Care Coordinator

Toni has been part of the Comfort Keepers team since December 2024, serving as a dedicated Client Care Coordinator. In her role, she supports both clients and caregivers by ensuring every client receives the best care possible—and by thoughtfully matching them with the right Comfort Keeper. Toni takes great pride in pairing clients with caregivers who truly fit their needs, personalities, and preferences.

One of Toni’s greatest joys is being out in the field, visiting with clients and caregivers. She loves witnessing the genuine bonds that form between them. These connections are filled with trust, compassion, and sometimes even family-like love. Seeing caregivers become an important part of a client’s life is something she finds incredibly special and touching.

Toni also finds joy in the everyday moments at work such as collaborating with her office teammates, supporting caregivers, and working together to serve clients with excellence. And, of course, nothing brings her more happiness than spending time with her own family. She is the proud mom of three wonderful kids: two daughters, ages 25 and 22, and a 17-year-old son. At home, she’s accompanied by Alvin, her adorable Labradoodle and loyal sidekick, and Debbie the cat—who is sweet… most of the time.

With her compassion, dedication, and love for the work she does, Toni is an invaluable member of the Comfort Keepers family.

Jaylee Hinrichs

Scheduling Coordinator

Jaylee has been part of the Comfort Keepers team since May 2025, bringing heart, dedication, and her signature smiley energy to the Scheduling Coordinator role. She is responsible for building and staffing all client schedules, thoughtfully matching caregivers based on skills, compatibility, and availability. Jaylee also works closely with caregivers, clients, and their families to ensure clear communication, trust, and confidence in every care plan.

One thing is certain—Jaylee loves her job. She finds joy in forming meaningful relationships with clients and their families, offering them peace of mind that their loved ones will receive care rooted in kindness, integrity, and love. She is deeply committed to finding the perfect caregiver match and fulfilling that promise whenever needs change.

Jaylee also treasures her relationships with caregivers, supporting them as they grow, adjust, and thrive. She values the flexibility Comfort Keepers provides and loves seeing caregivers evolve into confident and skilled care takers. Watching that growth, she says, leaves her “with her cup overflowing” every single day.

Jaylee’s world is filled with love at home, too. She has an 8-year-old husky who’s been with her since college and a sweet 2-year-old son, Marlee Ace. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, drawing, and DIY crafting.

With her passion, empathy, and commitment to genuine connection, Jaylee is an invaluable member of the Comfort Keepers family.

Andre’a Jennings

Director of HR

Andre’a Jennings joined Comfort Keepers in May 2025 and has been making a powerful impact as our Director of HR. In her role, she proudly supports our team by recruiting top-quality caregivers, strengthening employee relations, and keeping our organization current with HR compliance. Her focus is building a strong, compassionate workforce—because when our team thrives, our clients receive the best care possible.

What Andre’a enjoys most about her work is helping compassionate caregivers find meaningful roles and witnessing the powerful relationships they form with clients. She finds deep fulfillment in leading her HR team, celebrating caregiver successes, and knowing that her efforts contribute to brighter, more supportive care experiences every day.

In her personal life, Andre’a finds joy in cooking for her family, listening to music, staying active in her church, and embracing motherhood. For fun, she enjoys DIY projects, shopping, and spending quality time with family and friends.

With her leadership, heart for service, and commitment to building strong teams, Andre’a is an invaluable part of the Comfort Keepers family.

Ashley Gutierrez

Human Resources Assistant

Ashley joined the Comfort Keepers team in March as a caregiver and quickly transitioned to the office in May as our Human Resources Assistant, where she now supports everyone with her positive attitude and can-do spirit. Known for her empathy and problem-solving skills, Ashley helps both Comfort Keepers and clients by finding solutions and keeping the office running smoothly.

What she loves most about her role is simple—helping people. Whether she’s assisting a client or supporting a fellow team member, Ashley finds fulfillment in making a difference.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys baking, painting, reading, and catching up on her favorite shows. Her greatest joy comes from her family—her husband Michael, their son Austin (15), daughters Lydia (11) and Scarlett (5), and their cat, Gravy.

Ashley’s warmth, humor, and heart for helping others make her a valued part of the Comfort Keepers family.
