Meet Our Home Care Team in Delta and Montrose
Great care starts with the right people. At Comfort Keepers, our team serves older adults and their families throughout Delta, Montrose, Ouray, and surrounding Western Colorado communities.
We carefully screen and interview every caregiver before inviting them to join our team. Those selected complete comprehensive training in our approach to care and are bonded, insured, and covered by workers’ compensation insurance.
Training and experience matter, but compassion is what makes the difference. Our caregivers are chosen because they genuinely enjoy helping others. They take the time to understand each client’s routines, preferences, and goals—not simply the tasks that need to be completed.
That commitment extends throughout our organization. From our owner and leadership team to our care coordinators and caregivers, we share one purpose: helping older adults remain safe, independent, and connected to the lives they love.
We work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans that can adapt as needs change. Whether your family needs occasional companionship, help with everyday activities, or more consistent support at home, our team is ready to help.

Jeff Pitts
CEO & Owner
Jeff Pitts is the owner and CEO of Comfort Keepers of the Western Slope, serving older adults, veterans, and their families throughout Mesa, Delta, Montrose, Garfield, and Ouray counties.
Jeff acquired the agency in 2024 after a career as an attorney. The move into home care was driven by a personal belief: older adults—including his own parents—should be able to remain independent, safe, and connected to the lives they have built for as long as possible.
His legal background taught him how to navigate complicated systems, advocate for people, and solve problems when the stakes are high. At Comfort Keepers, he applies those same skills to the challenges families face when a parent, spouse, or loved one begins to need help at home. He is particularly proud of the agency’s work supporting veterans and expanding access to dependable care across rural Western Colorado.
Under Jeff’s leadership, Comfort Keepers has continued to grow while maintaining a clear standard: care should never feel generic. Every family has different needs, concerns, and circumstances, and the agency’s job is to listen first and build the right support around them.
“Home care is ultimately about giving people more choices,” Jeff says. “It allows older adults to keep living on their terms while giving their families confidence that they are safe, supported, and treated with dignity.”
Jeff’s vision is straightforward: to build the best home care company in Colorado. That means hiring compassionate people, holding the organization to a high standard, and continually finding better ways to help clients remain safely and independently at home.
