End of Life Care in Sacramento, CA, and the Surrounding Area

Comfort Keepers can help and support your family during this difficult time

Our compassionate Comfort Keepers come to the aid of individuals who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. We help them and their families with emotional and moral support as well as helping out around the home and providing personal and companionship care—whatever is needed. This specialized home care service is to grant seniors' wishes of spending their remaining time in the comfort of their own homes.

With end-of-life care, we are here to help the family and seniors during this difficult time. This plan is for families with aging loved one(s) who:

  • Prefer to spend their remaining time at home
  • Opted to stop receiving treatments
  • Have a rapidly-progressing condition
  • Depleted all their treatment options

The end game for this special in-home care is to provide support for the family during this process and after the passing of the loved one. For the senior, we are here to eliminate any discomfort and make their remaining time as pleasant as possible.

Our caregiver will be there every step of the way for your mom or dad to ensure their needs are adequately addressed. End-of-life care consists of a few of our senior care services within it such as personal care. light housekeeping, meal prepping, medication reminders, shopping, errands, and more!

Supporting the Whole Family

Comfort Keepers can support the family directly or work in partnership with a hospice agency or medical provider to fully meet the family’s needs. Our ultimate goal with palliative care is to help families make the most of their time together, helping to lighten the burden at a very difficult time. Through respite care, we give family caregivers needed rest.

Oftentimes, after a loved one's passing there is a good chance your family may start feeling stressed, depressed, and even overwhelmed. Your feelings are completely valid and understandable. For this reason, our end-of-life car doesn't stop after your loved one's passing. We are also here to provide emotional support for the family caregiver and the rest of the family. Our caregivers are also there to provide respite care if the main caregiver needs a much needed break.
