FSSA Workforce Grants

Indiana Family and Social Services Agency (FSSA) is providing grants under their Direct Service Workforce Investment Grant program.  These grants are intended to help stabilize and improve the direct service professional workforce that is working to provide services under FSSA’s Home and Community Based Services (HCBS).

Comfort Keepers of La Porte has applied to participate in the program.  Grants awarded to Comfort Keepers of La Porte will be completely allocated to wage increases for our direct care professionals.  It is the intent of Comfort Keepers of La Porte to use the awards to improve retention of our employees and allow us to be improve on our recruitment efforts.
