19th Annual ElderCare of Alachua County Golf Tournament

Comfort Keepers Gainesville is proud to support ElderCare of Alachua County as the Hole-in-One Sponsor of the 19th Annual ElderCare of Alachua County Golf Tournament. Taking place on November 20, 2026, at Hawkstone Country Club, this annual event brings Gainesville community members together to support programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of local seniors.

All net proceeds from the tournament will benefit ElderCare of Alachua County's Meals on Wheels and Al'z Place programs. These programs provide essential support to seniors who need access to nutritious meals as well as individuals and families affected by dementia.

Making a Difference for Local Seniors

Access to nutritious food and dependable care can significantly affect an older adult's health, safety, and quality of life. ElderCare of Alachua County meets these needs through programs that support seniors throughout the local community.

Through Meals on Wheels, seniors who may have difficulty preparing meals or obtaining nutritious food can receive hot meals delivered directly to their homes. The need for this service continues to grow. ElderCare of Alachua County currently has a wait list of more than 1,350 seniors, with an estimated 5,000 seniors in the community at risk of going hungry.

Al'z Place provides around-the-clock care for individuals following a dementia diagnosis. As more families face the challenges associated with dementia, programs that provide care, support, and resources are increasingly important.

At Comfort Keepers Gainesville, we understand how important it is for seniors to access compassionate care and resources in their own communities. We are honored to support ElderCare of Alachua County and its efforts to help local seniors live with greater comfort, dignity, and independence.

Event Schedule

• Registration: Approximately 10:30 a.m.

• Lunch: Approximately 11:30 a.m.

• Shotgun Start: Approximately 12:30 p.m.

• Dinner and Awards Reception: Following tournament play

The tournament will also feature several contests and activities, including Longest Drive, Longest Putt, Closest to the Pin, a Silent Auction, a Raffle, and more.
