In-Home Care for Seniors of Delaware County, Pennsylvania
Senior care services including home care for the elderly, respite for spouses of those suffering from Dementia or Alzheimer's Disease and other assisted living type services in privacy of the home or facility. Comfort Keepers provide you or a loved one in-home home health care and assistance that may include:
- Companionship - often provided for clients suffering from memory impairment, respite includes taking place of spouse who needs to leave home
- Meal preparation
- Transportation to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, to adult daycare, other commitments
- Light housekeeping and Laundry
- In-home safety technology - Personal Emergency Alert/medical alarm for when a loved one cannot dial a phone after fall or in an emergency
- Personal Care including showering, bathing and incontinence care
- Services are hourly or live in - please call for minimum visit hours, no visit frequency required nor length of service time required (see below).
Comfort Keepers is licensed by the state of PA to provide non-medical personal care and companionship services in several counties including Delaware County, PA. In the state of PA, non-medical home care services are not covered by traditional Medicare plans or insurances such as Aetna, Bravo or Keystone 65. Comfort Keepers, a non-medical provider of services accepts the following forms of payments:
Private Pay - services are hourly or live in, please call us for rates and for visit minimum hours. There is no requirement on the frequency of visits - a client does not have to agree to have services every day, services can be as minimal as once a year, once a month or three or four times a day. There is no requirement on length of time serviced so no client ever agrees to one month of service, one year or any length of service.
COSA - County Office Services for Aging - Comfort Keepers is a proud provider of in-home services and Personal Emergency Response Systems (for when your loved one cannot get to a phone after a fall or in emergency). Comfort Keepers has received a COSA Direct Caregiver of Year Award for 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010. To start the process of having your loved one assessed for services by COSA, click HERE. To have Comfort Keepers provide your in-home services paid for by COSA, you must choose Comfort Keepers Springfield off the provider list.
Long Term Care Insurance - Comfort Keepers accepts LTC insurance reimbursements from companies such as Genworth, John Hancock, Metlife and other LTC companies. Please contact us at delawarecounty@comfortkeepers.com or 610-543-6300 to inquire if your policy is accepted.

Comfort Keepers office is located at 920 W. Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064. Office is open from 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday. After 5pm and on weekends, a live answering service is available to transfer your call to our scheduling or assessment staff.
