About Comfort Keepers® Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama
Our motto at Comfort Keepers is "very good is not good enough when it comes to providing care for seniors" in the Columbus and Phenix City area. With a philosophy of "providing nothing but excellence" Al Abbott opened our local office in 2002. We have taken great pride in helping seniors maintain an independent lifestyle within the comfort and privacy of their own homes, while relieving the stress felt by family caregivers.
Al saw the need for a service built on this philosophy based on his experiences with his own grandmother. He saw first hand the difficulties of caring for an elderly member of the family when his grandmother's mental and physical abilities began to deteriorate. After relocating to a facility became a necessity, Al's mother would often spend up to twelve hours a day by his grandmother's side to ensure she got the best care possible. The emotional stress that Al's family endured during this difficult time made a lasting impression. Comfort Keepers provides the compassionate and loving care that families need during trying times like these.
Our office has served thousands of families in our area, changing and improving lives every step of the way with our compassionate, dedicated and well-trained staff of Comfort Keepers. Each of our Comfort Keepers has gone through a comprehensive screening process, and are all insured and bonded.
Every day we continue to grow and perfect the art of providing in-home senior care in the Columbus and Phenix City area. Many families find themselves in situations that they have never faced before. These times can be overwhelming, stressful and confusing. By providing the appropriate care, Comfort Keepers gives peace of mind in these uncertain times. We strive to treat every client as if they were a member of our own family.
