SKILLED PRIVATE DUTY NURSING

In addition to basic in-home care, personal care and safety technology solutions, Comfort Keepers, through Axiom Home Health Care, can provide assistance with certain clinical care needs. These basic nursing services assist seniors with important aspects of care and well-being. These services include: Medication set-up, Transitional Care (Especially Hospital-to-Home &/or Rehab-to-home), Pre-filling of insulin syringes, Wound care, Dressing changes, Urinary catheter care and maintenance, Nail care, Administration of medications, Ostomy care, Tube feeding, Monitoring of skin conditions, Bowel program, Suctioning, Range of motion exercises, Case/Care Management, General health assessments & coordination of medical services.

STOP SENIOR HUNGER

Comfort Keepers has a goal of collecting enough food and/or money to serve 10,000 meals to hungry seniors in the Greater Kansas City area this year. How you can help: arrange to have a collection barrel or box at your office and/or make a tax-deductible donation through our virtual food drive at http://www.OurFoodDrive.com . You can also drop off food donations at our main office on State Line Road. Here is a list of items we are currently collecting: CANNED Fruits, vegetables, protein (Meat/Fish/Nuts), Soups and Dairy; as well as Peanut Butter, Trail Mix, Dry Cereals, Muffin/Bread Mixes, Crackers, Whole Grain/Wheat Pasta and Brown Rice.
