Ensuring your loved one is safe at all times

Whether with a caregiver, or alone, your senior can always remain safe in addition to keeping their privacy.  SafetyChoice® medical alert and emergency monitoring devices are a great addition to our senior care at home.

Our products have been designed to make home care services for seniors more manageable and safer.

Each of these products has been designed to help in one of three areas of care safety:

  1. Medical alert systems
  2. Medication management
  3. Home-monitoring devices

Our products can take your care to an all-new level. At Comfort Keepers, the safety and security of our clients is and always will be job one.

Our Home Care Services Puts People First

While we are proud of our SafetyChoice® products, they can in no way take the place of our dedicated caregivers. Their purpose is to be there for our clients when their caregivers or family members can't be there.

There are many different incidents that can occur when a senior is alone, including:

  • Taking a fall
  • Missed (forgotten) essential medication
  • Accidental medication overdose
  • Sudden illness
  • Others

No matter what the problem, our Medical Alert Systems are there to extend our senior care at home.

We offer four different types of home safety equipment:

Personal Emergency Response Systems

The Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) is essentially a two-way phone line communication system. It makes it possible for our clients to access an emergency operator in real-time in the event of an emergency. Reasons for this could include a fall, taking the wrong medication or the wrong dose, the onset of a sudden illness, or many others.

Medication Safety and Management

One of the biggest problems faced by many seniors is the long list of medications they take every day. With so many medications, dosages, and times, it is easy to become confused. To help with this, we have developed a series of medication control tools. Each can be a vital part of our home care services, by helping our clients take the right medications at the right times and in the right dosages.

Comfort Keepers currently offer three different types of medication safety management equipment.

  • Pill dispensers: ideal for managing complex dosages
  • Tab safe: An affordable, easy to use system that prevents mistakes
  • MedMinder: An automated medication alert system that reminds the elderly to take the medications

Comfort Keepers Home Monitoring Systems

Companies have been offering "panic alarm systems" for decades. Our highly reliable senior alarm systems provide home security and safety for those enjoying our home care services and include the following:

  • Door and window alarms
  • Bedside pressure mats
  • Motion detectors
  • Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

Around the Clock Monitoring Systems

The crown jewel of our SafetyChoice® safety equipment is the 24/7 home monitoring system. Our system is connected via a dedicated phone line to our Safety Choice Centralized Monitoring Station.

Here the client is connected to a team of emergency operators who are dedicated to providing superior senior care services. The calls are answered quickly, and the operator will stay on the line until professional help has arrived.

If you are ready to learn more about our SafetyChoice® equipment and services, please contact us and talk to one of our senior advisors. They can go over all that Comfort Keepers has to offer through our senior care at home and our SafetyChoice® options. At the same time, you can schedule your free care consultation.
