In Home Health Care from Comfort Keepers In Bountiful, UT

Find out more about how our in home health care keeps your loved one engaged and active with Interactive Caregiving in Bountiful, UT

Comfort Keepers take a different approach to caregiving for seniors than typical senior care providers.  Our Interactive Caregiving program gives your loved one the opportunity to participate in their own in home health care. This approach has been praised by many of the people we have cared for over the years and will give your loved one the opportunity to take pride in their independence.

Interactive Caregiving covers much of the same things that other programs do, however, we encourage your parents to stay engaged. Your loved one will take an active role in their specific in health home care program, for we find that this can have an incredible impact on negative feelings seniors could be having about themselves. Allowing your senior loved one to feel like they are still in control of their own life could decrease feelings of depression and improve their self-confidence.

Through our Interactive Caregiving program, we will provide your loved one with companionship and care services to help them stay in their home for as long as possible. However, they will not feel like they have a maid or a nurse, but rather a partner helping them live life to the fullest.

Comfort Keepers engineered our Interactive Caregiving program to help your loved one stay engaged and feel purpose in their day-to-day life. By combining engagement with in home health care, we hope to raise caregiving to the next level. Your loved one could come to enjoy their independence and take pride in being able to stay at home without feeling like a burden to anyone.

One of the ways your loved one could take an active role in their own caregiving is by partaking in physical, mental and social activities. This can range from walks in the park, to going to bingo night, to finishing a crossword puzzle with their caregiver. Continuing to work on a hobby they have loved for a long time will be very beneficial for your loved one as well.

Of course, Interactive Caregiving does not stop there. Your loved one could participate in other aspects of in home health care, if they wish. For example, they could cook their own meals with help from a caregiver.
