Comfort Keepers® makes home the perfect place for many seniors to receive elder care services.

Elder care services provided by our compassionate caregivers--Comfort Keepers--enhance seniors' independence, enabling them to continue living in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of their own home for as long as they are able.

At the same time, Comfort Keepers serves the families of seniors, sharing caregiving duties so family members don't have to go it alone amidst their other responsibilities with work and children.

In-home elder care services provided by Comfort Keepers give seniors the confidence and security to continue living at home. Elder care services provided by Comfort Keepers include:

Personal care - preserving seniors' self-esteem by helping them maintain personal hygiene. These services include assistance with bathing or showering, grooming, toileting and incontinence care, assistance with feeding and help with mobility in and away from the house.

Companionship - personally engaging with seniors. This includes conversing, participating in activities and eating lunch together. Comfort Keepers also provide seniors companionship as they take care of household tasks, such as housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry and transportation to doctor's appointments and grocery shopping trips.

Nutrition - preparing meals for senior clients that provide the essential nutrients and energy needed to prevent illness and maintain optimal health.
Special assistance - meeting the needs of senior clients who have chronic health conditions, such as Alzheimer's disease, other dementia-related conditions, diabetes, heart disease and Parkinson's disease. These elder care services may be provided in partnership with home health care agencies. Comfort Keepers also partners with hospice agencies to provide supportive in-home elder care services for clients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. These services support clients' comfort and quality of life.

Technology solutions - providing electronic devices that promote the safety and well-being of seniors between visits by caregivers. These devices include a personal emergency response system that enables seniors to easily call for help when they are home alone and have a medical emergency or accident, a medication management system that helps remind seniors to take medications and a fall detector that automatically alerts help when a senior falls at home.
