Celebrating Joy Throughout June
At Comfort Keepers of Williamsport, bringing joy to others is at the heart of everything we do. That's why we spent the entire month of June celebrating the moments that make life brighter, culminating in the National Day of Joy on the last Wednesday of June.
Founded by Comfort Keepers in 2019, the National Day of Joy encourages people of all ages to pause, appreciate life's simple pleasures, and share happiness with those around them. This year, our team celebrated with four special events to recognize our incredible caregivers and the joy they bring to our clients' lives every day.
Taco ‘Bout Joy
On June 3rd, we launched our month-long celebration by sharing the story behind the National Day of Joy and invited everyone to join us in embracing the small moments that make life meaningful. Whether it's sharing a smile, enjoying time with friends, or making someone else's day a little brighter, joy can be found in everyday experiences.
We Floated into Joy
On June 10, we "Floated into Joy" with an afternoon filled with delicious root beer floats, exciting prizes, and plenty of laughter. It was wonderful to see our caregivers take a well-deserved break, enjoy time together, and create new memories while celebrating the spirit of joy.
Hot Diggity Joy
Our June 17 "Hot Diggity Joy" celebration was another fantastic success!
Guests enjoyed hot dogs, great conversations, lots of laughter, and everyone's favorite—the prize wheel. Watching caregivers connect with one another is one of the most rewarding parts of these events. Caregiving can sometimes feel like a solo journey, so we truly value creating opportunities for our team to gather, catch up, and build lasting friendships.
We're incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so memorable.
