With our interactive caregiving approach, we believe that the best senior care comes from allowing the senior to be able to still do what they enjoy. These interactive activities help to stimulate seniors emotionally, mentally, and physically, which are all very important for maintaining overall health.
The types of activities that are involved in our interactive caregiving approach can be anything from household activities to recreational fun. We understand that growing old and trying to maintain independence can be hard, especially when you still want to get out and about in your hometown. Because of this, we want your senior to feel like they still have control over their social lives by providing your senior with all that Devon has to offer!
Our caregivers could take your loved one to visit the Devon Horse Show to experience fun in the sun. They could also accompany your senior by taking a stroll through Jenkins Arboretum, a nonprofit botanical garden located on the north end of town. The Arboretum also has free admission. How cool is that?! If your loved one isn’t up to spending time out in the town, our interactive caregivers could also help your senior participate in smaller activities such as doing puzzles, going shopping, or dancing to music.
When you first sign up with Comfort Keepers, our team with interview both your senior and your senior’s loved ones to cater a caregiving plan completely based off of his or her needs. This way, your senior is able to get as much out of our care services as possible. We believe that every person is unique and deserves a personalized touch.
