• Mahoning County: 12.1% (4th highest in Ohio)
• Trumbull County: 11.1% of seniors affected
• 18.4% of Ohio adults age 45+ report cognitive decline symptoms

• Over 409,000 unpaid caregivers
• Providing 705 million hours of care
• Valued at $15.5 billion in unpaid labor

And the strain is real:

• 65.5% live with their own chronic health conditions
• 36.4% experience depression
• 41% face financial hardship due to caregiving
• 29% report moderate to high emotional stress

Most caregivers are:

• Women (57%)
• Around age 52
• Balancing work, children, and caregiving responsibilities

And nearly 1 in 4 provide 40+ hours of care per week
